About the Role
The GAP Group Limited is seeking a skilled Labourer/Driver to join our team in the heart of our depot. As a Labourer/Driver, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment, ensuring that all equipment is properly stored and maintained, and that all vehicles are fuelled and ready for customer use.
The Job Responsibilities
- Load, deliver, and collect hire equipment to and from customer sites in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Assist with the preparation of equipment for customer use, including cleaning and refuelling.
- Update fuel logs accurately and maintain accurate records of equipment usage.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
About You
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with previous experience working in a labourer role, preferably in a hire depot/yard environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong team player mentality, be able to work independently, and have a full driving licence. A CSCS card and forklift licence are desirable but not essential.
