We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ER Advisor to join our dynamic team at Distinct. This is a pivotal role where you will be the vital link between our People & Development team and the wider organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior management to manage a high volume of employee relations (ER) cases with a focus on fairness, consistency, and compliance with policies and employment laws.
  • Support management with complex ER issues, providing expert advice that balances risk with business needs.
  • Lead the development of tools and training programs that empower line managers to handle ER matters confidently.
  • Identify trends through data and proactively design solutions to address potential ER issues.
  • Support business change programs, ensuring smooth transitions and effective management of employee relations during times of change.
  • Design, review, and update people policies and employment contracts to enhance the employee experience.

Requirements:

  • Experience in handling significant TUPE transfers and managing complex caseloads.
  • Ability to navigate unionised environments effectively.
