We are seeking an experienced electrical engineer to join our team at WEG Tech, a leading provider of safety equipment and devices in the building services sector.

As an electrical engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Fault-finding and rectification on mechanical and electrical components and systems.
  • Completing site maintenance and installation/commissioning reports, noting any discrepancies from built drawings and ensuring system compliance.
  • Applying technical knowledge for installation processes.
  • Liaising with customers, clients, and main contractors on-site to ensure efficient work progression while demonstrating excellent communication and customer relations skills.
  • Engaging in project planning and decision-making both individually and as part of a team to ensure optimal installation of systems.
  • Adhering to all company and site-specific policies and procedures and keeping the Project Leader/Coordinator informed of site progress daily.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Electrical qualification or equivalent in a construction background.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working with electrical systems.
  • A full UK Driving Licence with at least 2 years of driving experience.
  • Strong communication and report writing skills.
  • Ability to record notes, information, and expenses via a software portal.
