Warehouse Operative Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our team at CastleView Group. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of customer orders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring timely and accurate delivery of customer orders.
  • Receiving and Sorting: Receive and sort parcels into relevant postcodes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the process.
  • Package Handling: Sort packages on the sortation belts and check for accuracy in the packages that have been sorted.
  • Physical Demands: Heavy lifting may be required, up to 15kg.
  • Health and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety rules and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless operations.
Benefits:
  • Competitive Pay: Earn £13.50 per hour for day shifts and £15.66 per hour for nights.
  • Overtime Pay: Receive £20.25 per hour for overtime 40-50 hours and £27 per hour for overtime 50-60 hours.
  • Shift Options: Choose from various shift options, including 30.0 hrs (6.00am -12.30pm), 40.0 hrs (11.45-10.15am), and new shifts.
