Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Burns Sheehan. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective operation, installation, and configuration of all systems, including recommending software and hardware acquisitions and upgrades.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain all elements of IT Infrastructure, supporting and optimizing key functional areas, particularly server infrastructure and all local onsite infrastructure.
- Monitor IT service performance, availability, and capacity.
- Ensure data centre capacity is measured and provide regular capacity reports and appropriate availability.
- Apply technical support concepts to deliver the highest standard of technical support.
- Knowledge necessary to propose relevant IT responses to changing business and project risks.
- Scripting, patching, and monitoring.
- SCCM and endpoint protection.
- Had experience with Migrations of Office 365, including emails, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Understanding of Data Centers (DCs) and Hyper-V.
- Experience with Azure Virtual Desktops.
- Hands-on experience with Office 365 monitoring tools.
Requirements:
- Experience as an Infrastructure Engineer in a similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including server infrastructure, data centers, and cloud computing.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
