Job Title: Junior Web Developer

We are seeking a talented Junior Web Developer to join our team at ESS Employment Ltd. As a Junior Web Developer, you will play a key role in the web and digital operations of our fast-growing company.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of web development principles and be proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining websites using WordPress, designing visually appealing and responsive websites, and implementing best practices for Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).

You will also be responsible for integrating and managing Google Analytics to track and report on website performance and user behaviour, optimising websites for speed, performance, and SEO, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align design and development with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain websites using WordPress
  • Design visually appealing and responsive websites
  • Implement best practices for Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
  • Integrate and manage Google Analytics
  • Optimise websites for speed, performance, and SEO
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Assist in troubleshooting and debugging website issues
Requirements:
  • Proven experience working with WordPress
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices
  • Experience with Google Analytics and other analytical tools
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience with UI/UX design principles
  • Knowledge of responsive design and mobile-first development
  • Basic understanding of version control systems
