Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Support Worker - ASN. This is a 52-week non-sessional post that requires working during school holidays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide care and assistance to individuals and small groups of pupils with additional support needs.
  • Support children with complex additional support needs, including those with Autism and communication needs.
  • Use various communication systems, such as Sign Along and PECS, to support children's communication needs.
  • Contribute to the work of our team in providing a supportive and inclusive environment for all children.

Requirements

  • Experience working with children with communication needs and complex additional support needs.
  • Ability to use various communication systems, such as Sign Along and PECS.
  • Highly motivated and dedicated individual with a passion for supporting children with additional support needs.

Working Arrangements

This is a 2-week rota position, with varying hours and days of work. The successful candidate will be required to work during school holidays.
