Job Title: Materials Technology Technician – Non-Metallic

Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitating safety evaluations of proposed construction support materials.
- Collaborating with material proposers and subject matter experts in safety assessments.
- Assisting in audits of storage and construction environments, focusing on material usage.
- Identifying necessary testing for materials and aiding in the provision of test samples.
- Maintaining material information records within relevant databases.
Required Skills and Experience:
Essential:
- Strong practical knowledge of mechanical system components (e.g., seals, gaskets).
- Experience in managing stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to comprehend and interpret technical documentation.

About the Materials Assurance Team:
As a Technician, you will collaborate with a team engaged across all current submarine programs. Your role will involve supporting the safety evaluation of materials utilized in submarine construction, particularly focusing on temporary build aids. Relocation support packages are available for all submarine roles, subject to eligibility criteria.
