Group Risk Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Specialist to join our team at Vp plc. As a Group Risk Officer, you will play a key role in driving forward our risk management strategy and ensuring the effective implementation of risk mitigation measures across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Risk Management Strategy: Work closely with the Head of Risk and Internal Audit to develop and implement a comprehensive risk management strategy that aligns with the company's overall objectives.
- Risk Identification and Monitoring: Identify and monitor risks across the organization, and develop and implement effective risk mitigation measures to minimize potential threats.
- Risk Governance and Compliance: Ensure that risk management practices are in line with corporate governance expectations and regulatory requirements.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration on risk management initiatives.
- Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs to raise awareness of risk management practices across the organization.
- Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports and analysis on risk management performance to senior management and the Risk Committee.
- Knowledge and Experience: Proven experience in risk management, internal audit, or a related field, with a strong understanding of corporate governance expectations and regulatory requirements.
- Skills and Qualifications: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate risk management theory into practice.
- Education and Certifications: Relevant qualifications in risk management, internal audit, or a related field, such as a Certified Risk Manager (CRM) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation.
