Exciting Opportunity for a Community Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Band 5 Registered Nurse to join our Community District Nurse teams in Solihull.

As a Community Registered Nurse, you will be part of a dynamic and supportive team that delivers high-quality care to patients in the community. You will work collaboratively with GPs and other professionals to ensure the best possible care is provided, avoiding unnecessary admissions and prolonged hospital stays.

The role involves working autonomously and requires a car driver/owner. You will be responsible for planning and ensuring work is allocated on a daily basis, prioritizing as the service requires.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with GPs and other professionals to ensure high-quality care is provided
  • Plan and allocate work on a daily basis, prioritizing as the service requires
  • Recognize and address risk factors to clients, carers, and Trust staff
Person Specification
  • Current registration as a First Level General Nurse
  • Knowledge in Safeguarding/ issues/procedures
  • IV Therapy Competent
  • Previous Community nursing experience
  • End of life care
Additional Criteria
  • UK Driving licence / car owner
  • Ability to work shifts
  • Flexibility to meet the needs of the service
