Customer Service Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Specialist. This role will involve managing a portfolio of customer accounts, providing exceptional service, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process customer orders accurately and maintain records
  • Build and maintain operational relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing sustainable solutions
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams to meet customer requirements
  • Inform customers of additional charges and provide order updates and relevant documentation
  • Coordinate documentation for import, export, and transit movements
  • Drive process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to achieving KPIs
  • Ensure timely and accurate invoicing of all charges to customers
  • Monitor order performance and suggest improvements to enhance margins on customer accounts
Requirements:
  • Minimum of two years of customer service experience in an office-based environment
  • Grade C/4 in GCSE Maths and English or relevant degree (desirable)
  • Experience in a customer-facing role with a proactive approach to customer service
  • Meticulous attention to detail with high-quality standards, able to work under pressure and adapt to changes
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build professional relationships
