Primary Care Advanced Nurse Practitioner Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and confident Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Southampton. As a key member of our healthcare service, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients in a primary care setting. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide safe and effective care, and will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose patients in a primary care setting
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Prescribe medications and treatments as necessary
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Registered with the relevant NMC/GPhC/HCPC
  • MSc in Advanced Nursing or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in a primary or emergency care setting
