Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join our client's workshop in Grantham. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles makes and models.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex vehicle problems using diagnostic tools and software.
  • Inspect and maintain vehicles to ensure they are safe and reliable.
  • Protect vehicles under repair from damage and inspect each vehicle for damage and cleanliness upon completion of repair.
  • Attend recognized courses of instruction as required and assist in the training of apprentices.
  • Ensure all service and maintenance sheets, customer defect reports, and electronic documentation are fully completed and signed off.
Requirements
  • A minimum Level 2 City and Guilds (or equivalent) in Vehicle Repair.
  • Experience in diagnostics and using computers.
  • A full, UK driving license.
  • A positive, right-first-time attitude.
  • A strong team player mentality.
  • The ability to work to a very high standard.
  • Good communication skills.
  • A willingness to learn and develop.
