Business Analyst – Hybrid Role

DCS Recruitment is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to play a crucial role in translating business needs into actionable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirement Gathering: Partner with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, ensuring they are clear, feasible, and aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Communication: Translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and other deliverables, clearly communicating these to development teams to ensure shared understanding.
  • Product Refinement: Work closely with product owners and developers to refine features, prioritize backlog items, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze business processes, data flows, and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Expert Guidance: Act as a subject matter expert by providing insights on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices to help shape product strategy and inform decision-making.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field, or a certification in Business Analysis (ISEB/BCS) or an International Diploma in Business Analysis.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with deep knowledge of financial products, services, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience working in agile environments, with a solid understanding of agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and tools (e.g., Microsoft DevOps, JIRA, Confluence).
  • Experience in Financial Services, particularly with BACS, direct debits, payment cards, prepaid, and cash transactions.
  • Certification in Agile methodologies, such as Certified ScrumMaster.
