Overview: A new opportunity has arisen for a Sales Engineering Manager within a rapidly expanding division of a prominent UK electrical solutions provider. This role encompasses both office and field responsibilities, necessitating regular visits to client locations across the UK, hence candidates must be prepared for travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales within the Electrical Services industry.
- Possess a solid technical understanding of SWITCHGEAR and POWER DISTRIBUTION solutions.
- Be willing to travel, as the role involves approximately 3 days in the office and 2 days in the field.
- Exhibit strong commercial insight and problem-solving capabilities.
- Showcase excellent negotiation skills.
- Have proficient computer skills, including knowledge of Word, Excel, and AutoCAD (additional training may be provided).
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Maintain efficiency, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Work towards targets and objectives within established guidelines.
