Lead Product Marketing Strategist

We are in search of a Senior Product Marketing Manager to spearhead our dynamic team. Reporting directly to the Head of Product Management, you will oversee a group of Product Management and Marketing professionals dedicated to creating compelling products that resonate with our customers while ensuring optimal financial outcomes. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing collaboration with some of the most innovative minds in the automotive sector.
We seek an experienced leader in the automotive field to energize our expanding Product Management team. You will take full responsibility for managing our products from the planning phase through to launch and ongoing lifecycle management. A significant aspect of your role will involve establishing best practice tools and processes to support Product Management as our organization evolves into a global entity.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development and growth of the Product Management team.
- Accountable for contributions to business cases through variant/trim strategies, feature content, options strategy, and associated take rates.
- Validate product content investments using benchmarks and comprehensive business cases.
- Collaborate with Product Development teams to position product attributes and content effectively, managing trade-offs to achieve the best alignment for customer satisfaction, brand integrity, and financial performance.
- Post-launch, continuously monitor vehicle sales performance across various markets to formulate Model Year strategies that enhance customer offerings throughout the product lifecycle, maximizing profitability.
- Create impactful customer-facing product messaging, including target audience-specific unique selling propositions (USPs), compelling reasons to buy, and persuasive sales arguments, translating these into effective marketing materials.
- Develop comprehensive Product Guide assets to equip the wider business with essential product information, supporting product launches and go-to-market initiatives, thereby empowering sales and marketing teams to meet their targets.
- Own and refine the Commercial Launch Plan, ensuring alignment and planning of go-to-market activities with broader Commercial and Marketing Communications functions.
- Assist Marketing in crafting the go-to-market strategy for maximum impact and resonance with our target customers.
- Design vehicle and feature demonstration plans to support the creation of Product Marketing assets and other marketing materials.
- Represent Forseven at various press and marketing events.
Qualifications:
- A proactive and ambitious mindset; highly motivated and accountable.
- Transparent communication style with the ability to build influential relationships across all levels of the organization.
- A strong sense of personal responsibility for development and a genuine passion for acquiring extensive product knowledge.
- Substantial experience in vehicle product management and marketing.
- Experience in a fast-paced startup environment or the ability to thrive in a less-structured, adaptable setting.
- A blend of analytical and creative thinking that brings order and control to manage complexity and ambiguity.
- Significant background in product management or a related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Direct experience with vehicle products in a global original equipment manufacturer (OEM).
- Experience managing products with software-defined feature content.
- Experience with electric vehicle products.
- Familiarity with the typical components of a vehicle product development program.
- Current knowledge of the global automotive legislative and regulatory landscape.
