Join our dedicated Environment and Sustainability Team at NHSBSA as an Environmental Content Designer.
This position presents a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to assist in the formulation and execution of the NHSBSA Environment Strategy and action plan.
You will be responsible for leading significant components, including the upkeep and enhancement of our comprehensive Environmental Management System, which is certified to ISO14001.
Collaboration with various teams across NHSBSA will be essential to promote environmental advancements, allowing you to influence and oversee the organization’s carbon management strategy.
Main Responsibilities
Support the Environment and Sustainability Lead in the creation and implementation of the NHSBSA environmental strategy.
Collaborate with the Estates Senior Management Team to design and supervise the organization’s carbon management strategy.
Maintain and improve the NHSBSA's Environmental Management System (EMS).
Ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, codes of practice, and governmental mandates.
Develop and execute environmental and sustainability policies, procedures, guidance, and systems.
Create the NHSBSA environmental reporting framework to evaluate and monitor the performance of environmental targets, overseeing the organization’s reporting processes.

Detailed Job Description and Responsibilities
As an Environmental Content Designer, you will manage an Environmental Management System, comprehend environmental legal requirements and governmental mandates, develop and implement a carbon management strategy, and collaborate with estates teams on carbon management.
Knowledge and experience in carbon accounting and monitoring environmental performance will be crucial. You will also be tasked with implementing and reporting against governmental mandates such as the Greening Government Commitments.
