NBCUniversal is seeking an ambitious and experienced journalist to join our team as an International News Reporter. This role will require a skilled reporter with a proven track record of producing high-quality, engaging content for a global audience.

The successful candidate will be a seasoned journalist with a deep understanding of international news and a passion for storytelling. They will be responsible for pitching, reporting, and writing daily news stories, as well as working on longer-term features and projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Pitching and reporting on daily news stories
  • Developing and maintaining a network of sources and contacts
  • Collaborating with digital editors and reporters, as well as broadcast correspondents and producers
  • Producing high-quality, engaging content for a global audience

Qualifications include:

  • At least five years of experience working with a major news organization
  • A healthy set of bylined clips demonstrating a track record of reporting and writing general news articles for a mass market audience
  • Ability to write clean and accurate copy on a tight deadline
  • Experience covering news relevant to a U.S. audience
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Desire to work in a creative, demanding, competitive, but highly rewarding news environment
  • Awareness of NBCUniversal personalities and brands
  • Knowledge of foreign languages desired
  • Must have the Right To Work documentation to work in the UK
