Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver a high-quality curriculum for Humanities and Sport that aligns with the Star Academies' vision and values.
  • Lead and manage a team of teachers and support staff to ensure excellent teaching and learning practices.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address these.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive education for our students.

Requirements

  • A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status.
  • The ability to teach to GCSE standard.
  • The ability to coach and motivate colleagues to achieve individual and collective targets.
  • Experience of sustained delivery of outstanding attainment and achievement.
  • Experience of innovation and creativity to engage, enthuse and progress learners.
