The Broker Finance role plays a vital part in the smooth operation of the Finance team at Verastar Limited.
- Reconcile customer payments against the company's internal system on a daily basis.
- Perform monthly reconciliations of customer and insurer accounts against the company's internal system.
- Ensure all Direct Debit funding is allocated and reconciled on the Direct Debit facility.
- Set up loans where required, process amendments, and ensure all amounts and payments reconcile.
- Send statements and chase outstanding policies for reconciliation.
- Send weekly statements to customers and chase up outstanding debt.
- Assist with recording and reconciliation of client monies.
- Resolve any accounts queries that arise from insurer statements and daily payments.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience of managing workloads and prioritizing tasks.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong administration skills.
- High levels of attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Industry experience within finance or insurance, preferred but not essential.
