Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hi Lift Driver to join our Cabin Cleaning Services team at Meridian Business Support. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving and positioning the hi-lift vehicle next to the plane to enable the loading and unloading of supplies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Health and Safety: Ensure the health and safety of yourself and others when opening the aircraft door and operating the hi-lift vehicle.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the team leader and other Hi-Lift Drivers to ensure the aircraft is stocked and replenished with new and used products, cages, and waste.
  • Stock Management: Stock and replenish the aircraft with new and used products, cages, and waste, ensuring that the hi-lift vehicle is leaving the aircraft and its airport stand safe and clean.
  • Support to Cleaning Team: Assist the cleaning team with their duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Ideally, you will be an experienced steps driver looking to progress your career or a driver with experience in air-side vehicles.
  • Qualifications: You must have a Full UK driving licence.
  • Police Check: You will be required to undergo a Police check and provide 5 years' worth of referencing.
Benefits:
  • Competitive Salary: £16.13 per hour (£33,550.40 per annum)
  • Contracted Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Permanent or Temporary to Permanent Options: We offer both permanent and temporary to permanent options for the right candidate.
