Job Description
Warehouse and Office Operations Specialist
BATCAM is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Warehouse and Office Operations Specialist.
About the Role
As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of equipment to events and projects. This will involve coordinating with our production team to ensure that all necessary equipment is available and in good working order.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the inventory of equipment and supplies, ensuring that all items are accurately recorded and easily accessible.
- Coordinate the movement of equipment to and from events, including arranging transportation and ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed.
- Implement and maintain scheduling software to streamline the coordination of kit movement, repairs, and maintenance.
- Manage our resources software to track equipment usage and availability.
- Organize equipment carnet for shipping to international events.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and prepared for events.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of equipment and supplies.
- Perform other duties as required to support the smooth operation of the warehouse and office.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g. logistics, operations management) preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse or operations role.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
- Full driving license.
Nice to Have
- Experience with equipment scheduling software (e.g. Current RMS).
- Knowledge of cameras, connectors, and gimbals.
- TV/Broadcast knowledge.
- Drone knowledge/experience.
- Google apps suite experience.
