Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Verelogic IT Recruitment. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing cost estimates for various construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze cost estimates for construction projects, taking into account factors such as materials, labor, and equipment costs.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and perform cost-benefit analyses to identify potential cost savings and optimize project budgets.
  • Monitor project expenditures to ensure alignment with the budget and identify areas for cost reduction.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and implement cost-saving measures, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure that costs are reasonable and aligned with project requirements.
  • Evaluate and manage risks associated with cost control throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that potential risks are identified and mitigated.
  • Prepare progress reports and financial forecasts for management review, providing insights into project performance and identifying areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and associated costs.
  • Proficiency in using cost estimating software and tools, with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, with strong communication and negotiation skills.
