We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Test Engineer to join our Mechanical and Climatic Test Department. As an Environmental Test Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering complex test campaigns on defence programmes, applying tests using cutting-edge equipment and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute environmental test campaigns to ensure the qualification and delivery of defence programmes
  • Apply tests using cutting-edge equipment and techniques, including vibration control and automated mechanical test systems
  • Work closely with other teams to conduct functional testing, equipment maintenance, and test planning
  • Ensure all testing is conducted to the required standard for missile development and qualification
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver projects and achieve departmental goals

Requirements:

  • Good problem-solving skills and a sound fundamental knowledge of mechanical structures and analysis
  • IT competence, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrable experience leading or working as a team in the delivery of projects
  • Previous experience using Siemens Testlab vibration control equipment or other automated mechanical test systems
