  10. Optional: Streamline deployment and testing processes by implementing and refining CI/CD pipelines.
  11. Optional: Create Chef scripts for automated provisioning and configuration management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrated experience in frontend testing with Cypress or Playwright.
  • Participation in at least two implementations of Cypress or Playwright.
  • Experience leading at least one of the two implementations.
  • Strong grasp of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience leading frontend testing projects from inception to completion.
  • Proficiency in converting Cypress code to Playwright, if skilled in Playwright.
  • Optional: Practical experience with AWS services and infrastructure management.
  • Optional: Knowledge of GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines and/or experience with other tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab CI/CD).
  • Optional: Expertise in Chef scripting for automating infrastructure tasks.
