Weekly Commitment: 35 hours

Compensation: £58,000 - £63,000 annually

Salary placement will typically be at the initial point of the scale.

Purpose of the Role: The Programme Manager will play a crucial role in facilitating the execution of projects within the Asset Management Transformation Portfolio. This includes ensuring that established objectives and targets are met while supporting the Chief Officer (Property & Assets) in maintaining effective governance and implementation of the portfolio initiatives. The role involves collaboration with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.

The Highland Council is embarking on a significant transformation initiative over the next three years, integrating the Council's Programme and Budget Strategy with the Highland Outcome Improvement Plan (HOIP). This position offers an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated and proactive individual to lead the successful execution of a programme centered on the Single Property Service and Highland Investment Plan Workstreams. The ideal candidate will leverage their existing expertise across a variety of projects and activities, ensuring that key deliverables and targets are achieved, thereby enhancing the Asset Management strategy and advancing the Highland Investment Plan.

Qualifications: Candidates should possess substantial experience in property and asset management, along with robust project management capabilities. A self-motivated attitude and the ability to view challenges as opportunities are essential.
