ESG Assurance Manager Risk Advisory

We're BDO, a leading accountancy and business advisory firm, and we're seeking a talented ESG Assurance Manager to join our Risk Advisory team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in delivering ESG assurance and advisory services to our clients, helping them navigate the complexities of sustainability and risk management.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in assurance and consulting to take their skills to the next level. You'll work closely with our clients to understand their ESG objectives and develop tailored solutions to help them achieve their goals. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping our clients build trust with their stakeholders and drive long-term sustainability.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver ESG assurance and advisory services to a wide range of clients across various sectors
- Develop and implement ESG assurance and advisory strategies to meet client needs
- Collaborate with our clients to understand their ESG objectives and develop tailored solutions
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results
- Develop and maintain deep client relationships, providing exceptional service and support
- Proven experience in internal audit, regulatory assurance, or advisory work
- Strong knowledge of the UK regulatory environment, including ESG and sustainability initiatives
- Ability to deliver and manage work under recognized assurance standards (ISAE 3000, 3410, etc.)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to lead smaller engagements or sections of complex engagements
