Warehouse Operations Specialist

Main Responsibilities- Warehouse Operations: Receive, handle, and store all warehouse goods and materials in accordance with established procedures and safety standards.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Inventory Management: Perform regular stock checks and inventory audits to maintain an accurate inventory.
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment by adhering to housekeeping standards.
- Supply Chain Management: Ensure the proper labeling and storage of goods to optimize space and efficiency.
- Delivery and Receiving: Assist in loading and unloading deliveries, verifying the quality and quantity of goods received.
- Equipment Maintenance: Monitor the condition of the warehouse equipment and perform routine maintenance or report any issues to the Warehouse Manager.
- Health and Safety: Follow all health and safety guidelines, reporting any potential hazards or accidents immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Support the Warehouse Manager in daily operations and provide updates on warehouse activities and performance.
- Logistics Support: Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth warehouse and logistics operations.
- One or more years of experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklift license preferred but not essential).
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy objects.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and workload.
