About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paralegal to join our Conveyancing team at Talbots Law. As a Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in assisting our lawyers in handling client matters from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deal proactively with a wide range of clients, providing exceptional client care and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Obtain simple indemnity policy quotes, request searches, and review mortgage offers, reporting to clients in a clear and concise manner.
  • Draft registered contracts, including issuing and chasing contracts, as well as proof-reading system-generated documentation.
  • Update relevant software, such as TM Secure and SOS, and maintain compliance requirements in line with SRA, Lexcel, Law Society Quality scheme Standards, SARs, and accounting requirements.
Requirements
  • At least 12 months of experience working as a Paralegal within a Conveyancing department.
  • Passion for delivering outstanding client care and excellent administrative, planning, and organisational skills.
  • Working knowledge of case management systems, land registry portal, and online Conveyancing software.
