About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 5/6 Children's or Adult Nurse with a passion for Haematology to join our dynamic team on a bank basis. This opportunity offers a chance to contribute your expertise to a specialized unit within Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to children with a range of haematological conditions, including sickle cell anaemia, beta thalassaemia, diamond blackfan anaemia, gene therapy, bone marrow transplant, and oncological emergencies.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
  • Demonstrate clinical competence and expertise in haematology nursing practices.

Grand Union is a 13-bedded acute paediatric haematology ward equipped with four paediatric bone marrow transplant facilities and a dedicated 2-bedded apheresis bay. We are committed to providing a supportive and nurturing environment for both patients and their families.
