As a Salaried General Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of both acute and chronic conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of both acute and chronic conditions.
  • Focus on preventative medicine and conduct home visits as needed.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Attend multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to practice management.
  • Involve in educational activities, such as training junior doctors, and engage in ongoing professional development.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide seamless patient care.

Requirements

  • Full registration with the GMC and on the GP Register.
  • Previous Primary Care experience.
  • SystmOne proficiency.
  • Proficiency in all areas of general practice, including patient consultation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
  • Expertise in managing both acute and chronic conditions, with a comprehensive approach to patient care.
  • Knowledge of current NHS practices, guidelines, and legal regulations.
  • Additional qualifications/specific areas of interest, such as diabetes care, women's health, and dermatology are desirable but not essential.

Compensation and Benefits

£12,750 per session - full time (8 sessions) is preferred, however we will consider part time applicants.
