About the Tax Manager Role

We are TC Group, a dynamic and ambitious accountancy firm, seeking a skilled Tax Manager to join our team in Sussex. As a Tax Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality tax services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit tax returns for individuals and partnerships
  • Prepare ERS and EMI returns, as well as forms P11D and PSA calculations
  • Deal with client queries and HMRC enquiries, providing expert advice and guidance
  • Contribute to capital gains tax and inheritance tax projects, and assist partners with specialist tax consultancy work
  • Identify and implement tax planning opportunities, ensuring clients receive optimal tax benefits
  • Manage your own workload, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Tax Manager with the following qualifications and skills:

  • At least 3 years of relevant accountancy practice experience
  • Qualified CTA or qualified by experience
  • Excellent client relationship skills, with the ability to nurture existing clients and develop new business
  • Ability to explain complex tax issues in plain English, for all levels of understanding
  • Technical proficiency in Excel, with intermediate skills
  • A current driving licence and own transport, for client visits
