Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Support Worker to join our team at Quality Service Recruitment Limited. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support to a young adult service user in a supported living unit in Derby.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer 2-2-1 support to a young adult service user, helping them learn the necessary life skills to live independently.
  • Follow plans to assist the service user with everyday tasks such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, and leaving the house to engage in activities.
  • Work collaboratively with the service user to help them overcome past traumatic experiences and achieve a brighter future.
  • Provide a calm and patient approach to support the service user's needs.

Requirements:

  • An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months.
  • Up-to-date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, and Moving and Handling training.
  • A Referenceable work history.
  • At least 3 months of experience in a similar setting.

What We Offer:

  • A bank role covering holidays and sickness.
  • A competitive rate of pay of £11.50 per hour.

Working Hours:

07:00 to 19:00, on required days between Monday to Friday.
