Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in one of our excellent SEN provisions in Macclesfield.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for working with pupils with varied SEN and challenging behaviour, requiring a resilient practitioner with excellent relationship-building skills. The role is full-time and for the full 2024/2025 Academic Year, with opportunities across KS3&4 depending on the preference and specialism of the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities- Support pupils with their learning and communicate effectively with Class Teachers to ensure appropriate strategies are used.
- Build strong relationships with pupils, teachers, and other staff members to create a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Assist with lesson planning and delivery, adapting to the individual needs and learning styles of pupils.
- Contribute to the development of a positive and engaging learning environment.
