Position Overview:
As a Forklift Driver specializing in counterbalance operations, you will play a crucial role in the efficient management of goods within the warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately receive, store, and dispatch goods in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Utilize a forklift or pallet truck to load and unload cargo, ensuring safety and efficiency.
  • Prepare international groupage trailers for loading based on established plans.
  • Execute order picking, packing, wrapping, and unwrapping tasks with precision.
  • Oversee stock management and conduct quality assurance checks.
  • Maintain accurate warehouse records and uphold cleanliness standards.
  • Complete daily operational tasks while prioritizing safety and efficiency.

Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, with a preference for rotating shifts, totaling 42.5 hours per week.

Compensation:
£12.43 per hour.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse setting and possession of a valid forklift driving certification.
  • Proficiency in loading international groupage trailers.
  • Skills in order picking and stock inventory management.
  • Basic literacy, numeracy, and computer proficiency.
  • A collaborative team player with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety.
  • Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments.
