Job Title: Procurement Manager - Category Development Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our team at Prescient Recruitment Group Ltd. As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies that drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with business objectives
- Manage a portfolio of categories to drive cost savings and process improvements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver procurement projects and initiatives
- Develop and implement governance and compliance processes to ensure procurement activities are aligned with company policies
Requirements:
- Proven experience in procurement management, with a focus on category development and strategic sourcing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- CIPS qualification or equivalent
