About the Role

The Fashion Retail Academy (FRA) is seeking a talented and experienced Lecturer in Fashion Marketing and Communications to join our Higher Education team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional teaching and learning experiences for our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organise and deliver high-quality teaching activities for your module, ensuring every student receives the highest level of teaching, learning and feedback.
  • Lead on the delivery and creation of industry-relevant module content, in line with the course and wider programme objectives.
  • Contribute to quality monitoring and reporting of module progress and proactively initiate recommendations for improvement.
  • Adopt excellent teaching, learning and monitoring practices and share knowledge within the team.
About You
  • You will have a BA/BSc (Hons) Degree in Fashion Marketing & Communications or a related subject, or comparable CPD.
  • A relevant postgraduate qualification (PhD/MA/PGCHE or comparable CPD) would be beneficial.
  • A PG CERT in HE Teaching is essential.
  • You will have a proven track record in teaching or training, preferably in higher education.
  • You will be a subject specialist passionate about delivering a highly industry-relevant and student-centred curriculum.
  • You will have strong people skills and the ability to lead, motivate and collaborate with colleagues to ensure the effective development and delivery of the module.
  • You will be creative and enthusiastic, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You will have an innovative and open-minded approach to curriculum design and development.
  • You will have outstanding current knowledge of the subject area and Fashion Retail landscape.
  • You will be passionate about driving excellence, including student experience.
