Role Overview

As the Restaurant and Bar Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily functions of our dining establishment. Reporting directly to the General Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing daily operations of the restaurant and bar, ensuring exceptional customer service and adherence to quality standards.
  • Training and mentoring staff in customer service excellence, food safety protocols, and operational policies.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout dining areas.
  • Addressing customer concerns and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Overseeing budgets, managing costs, and maximizing profitability.
  • Ensuring guests receive professional service in line with company standards.
  • Coaching staff to enhance sales through effective upselling techniques.
  • Developing and implementing new operational procedures within the department.
  • Supervising the training and development of restaurant and bar staff to ensure they possess the necessary skills to assist guests effectively.
  • Monitoring staff performance, providing constructive feedback, coaching, and support to meet performance targets.
  • Ensuring compliance with company procedures, standards, and brand values.
  • Managing employee performance and attendance in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Facilitating conflict resolution among team members to maintain a positive work environment.
  • Acting as duty manager for the hotel on a rotational basis.
