About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Registered Nurse to join our team as a Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse on Ward 24. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the leadership and management of the nursing team.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of experience at Band 5, with a strong understanding of ward and department management. They will be a professional role model, dedicated to high standards of care and patient safety, and will have a passion for clinical excellence and patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and management to the nursing team, ensuring the delivery of excellent patient care and contributing to the management and development of seamless, multi-disciplinary care for patients and their carers.
  • Support the Senior Sister/Charge Nurse and take responsibility for the planning, practice, and evaluation of nursing care, supporting all junior grades of nursing staff and escalating any issues to the senior nursing team.
  • Work collaboratively with other ward sisters/charge nurses within the ward 24 nursing team to provide leadership and management for the team.
