About Us

The Alcohol & Drug Service (ADS) is a registered charity dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families affected by drug and alcohol misuse for over 40 years. We operate as part of East Riding Partnership (ERP), a collaborative effort between ADS and Humber Teaching NHS Trust.

Our Mission

At ERP, we provide comprehensive treatment services within the community through our three hubs: Hull, Bridlington, and Goole. Our multi-disciplinary team, led by a consultant, offers a range of specialized programs including aftercare, young people's support, community rehabilitation, and assistance with image and performance-enhancing drugs/steroids. We also empower service users and their caregivers through a dedicated team of volunteers and peer mentors.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide structured key working and evidence-based interventions, assessments, referrals, and guidance to individuals experiencing challenges related to drug and/or alcohol use.
  • Contribute to the development of our services and best practices.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal departments and external agencies.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Registered Social Worker qualification is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Desirable: Level 3 Tackling Substance Misuse or equivalent qualification.
  • Practice Educator qualification is also desirable.
