About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Accounting Manager to lead our digital transformation efforts in the London and Southern region. This role will be instrumental in driving the adoption of cloud-based accounting solutions and optimizing financial processes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with partners and portfolio managers to identify opportunities for implementing and optimizing cloud-based solutions within client portfolios.
  • Promote the adoption of digital health checks across the ABA South portfolio, tracking progress and identifying new opportunities for improvement.
  • Deliver a range of client services, including cloud implementation, finance function optimization, and Xero training engagements.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members, ensuring high-quality work output and professional development.
  • Raise awareness of digital accounting solutions, particularly cloud accounting platforms like Xero and related applications, among managers and partners.
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in the digital accounting space, maintaining relevant certifications and pursuing ongoing training.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Qualified Accountant with a strong understanding of cloud-based technology.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proactive and results-oriented individual with the ability to drive digital transformation initiatives.
  • Resilient and adaptable, comfortable with exploring new solutions and overcoming challenges.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound judgments based on data analysis.
