Delivery Van Driver / Fitter (Multi-Drop Delivery Technician)

At Manpower UK - RISE, we're seeking a compassionate and responsible Delivery Van Driver / Fitter (Multi-Drop Delivery Technician) to join our team. As a key member of our team, you'll be delivering, collecting, and fitting essential NHS healthcare equipment in patients' homes, making a real difference in their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Equipment Delivery and Collection: Safely transport and collect NHS medical equipment, such as beds, air mattresses, and other devices, to patients' homes.
  • Equipment Installation and Repair: Fit and install equipment in patients' homes, ensuring it's ready for use, and perform simple repairs as needed (full training and tool kit provided).
  • Customer Service: Provide compassionate support and excellent customer service to patients and families, ensuring their needs are met and they feel valued.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of deliveries and equipment, ensuring seamless communication with our team.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations, including sticking to speed limits, and ensure our vehicles are tracked for safety and compliance.
Requirements:
  • A valid driving licence with no more than 6 points.
  • Enhanced DBS check (required due to working with vulnerable individuals).
  • A compassionate nature with strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle and fit equipment (training on simple repairs provided).
  • Experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
Working Hours:
  • Training Period (4 to 6 weeks): Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
  • Post-Training: Monday to Sunday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM (Rest days: Wednesday & Sunday).
  • Potential overtime available as needed.
