Data Test7 is seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to join our team. This is a broad, hands-on, and business-facing role working in a fast-paced, challenging & rewarding environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and analyze monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and commentary to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare quarterly forecasts, including monthly re-forecasts and annual budgets/long-range plans, to drive business growth and strategy.
  • Review individual company cash-flows and consolidate them into the group cash-flow on a monthly basis to ensure financial stability.
  • Provide monthly reporting to external investors, including covenant reporting, new catalogue acquisition reporting, and debt documentation.
  • Liaise with external accountants on the preparation of statutory accounts and tax reporting for UK and international entities.
  • Lead monthly review meetings with commercial managers to discuss financial performance and strategy.
  • Attend management meetings with the CFO, CEO, and business heads to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and project work as directed by the CFO to drive business growth and improvement.

Required Experience/Attributes:

  • Recently qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with a strong understanding of financial management and analysis.
  • Experience in month-end management accounting and financial reporting.
  • Music industry experience is essential, with a strong understanding of royalties and music business operations.
  • FP&A/business partnering experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to take a business partnering approach to finance and establish credibility with stakeholders.
  • Commercially astute with a proactive, can-do attitude, a natural curiosity, and keen attention to detail.
  • Flexible and personable with a good sense of humor.
