Job Title: Senior Paralegal

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Paralegal to join our Public Inquiries team in London. As a Senior Paralegal, you will play a critical role in supporting the team's work on high-profile public inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement redaction policies and decisions using e-disclosure platforms and specific systems.
  • Review and organize data relevant to the inquiry and present it in a preferred format to assist the investigation.
  • Take detailed instructions from fee earners within the team and provide regular updates on progress.
  • Instruct Counsel on key matters related to the inquiry.
  • Assist with all elements of evidence gathering, collation, and publication, including work on e-disclosure platforms.
  • Work in relation to Restriction Orders, including liaising with Counsel and solicitors.
  • Support work on hearings, including making arrangements with the Court and liaising with core participants.
  • Liaise with core participants and other stakeholders on a wide range of issues.
Requirements:
  • 12 months of Legal Assistant/Paralegal experience.
  • A willingness to undergo SC Clearance.
  • Public Inquiries case handling experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Accuracy, good organizational skills, and flexibility.
  • Good knowledge of Word and Outlook, with experience in Excel, PowerPoint, and Relativity (or other e-disclosure) systems.
  • A proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and work under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A strong team-player with the ability to work with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
