Key Responsibilities:
As an Automotive Engineer at Solus, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of customer service across our leading business and our strategic partners. Our renowned insurance operation requires a proficient engineer to elevate our claims process to meet and exceed customer expectations.
The Engineering team is responsible for conducting comprehensive inspections of both insured and third-party vehicles, utilizing advanced technology to review and validate estimates before approving repairs through our network of Authorized Repairers and Customer Nominated Repairers efficiently and cost-effectively.
You will engage regularly with our Solus sites and approved repairers, monitoring performance, identifying potential improvements, and fostering strong relationships.
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Membership in IMI / IRTE / ATA / VDA or a commitment to pursue such qualifications.
- Understanding of Motor Claims and basic insurance principles.
- Proficient in computerized damage estimating systems, including Audatex.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Confident and positive demeanor when interacting with customers.
- Empathy, tact, assertiveness, and diplomacy in customer communications.
- Ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines while demonstrating initiative.
- Computer literate with strong administrative capabilities.
- Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
