We are excited to present an opportunity for a Repairs Planner to join our team. This position is pivotal in ensuring the smooth administration of repair services, compliance tasks, and various technical projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Organizing, scheduling, and distributing repair tasks.
  2. Prioritizing work orders effectively, balancing tenant needs with tenancy agreements and the efficient use of available repair personnel.
  3. Applying appropriate rate codes to standard repair orders for both in-house teams and external contractors.
  4. Communicating with residents through various channels to arrange appointments, facilitate work completion, troubleshoot issues, and address complaints.
  5. Monitoring the progress of repairs to ensure a seamless experience for residents and tradespeople.
  6. Generating end-of-day reports to identify overdue jobs.
  7. Maintaining comprehensive records of all tasks, including job details, appointments, statuses, and associated costs.
  8. Ensuring that works in progress are actively managed.
  9. Overseeing subcontractor performance to ensure timely job completion and proper documentation for review.
  10. Addressing any issues related to operatives or contractors by escalating them to the appropriate supervisor.
  11. Investigating and responding to both informal and formal complaints from customers.

Experience Required:
  • Essential experience in the housing repairs sector.
  • Previous experience in repairs planning.
  • Proficient in Excel, including knowledge of V-LOOKUP.
