We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Teespro Recruitment Ltd. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing selected project orders and interfacing with clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Project management and planning
- Attend internal pre-contract meetings and provide technical advice
- Receive and acknowledge receipt of steelwork contractor AFC detail drawings
- Prepare schedules, programmes, and registers for internal and external communication
- Monitor drawing office progress and prepare main contractor weekly progress reports
- Attend internal process meetings and advise on design and detailing programme status
- Attend client meetings to resolve design, detailing, technical, and commercial questions
- Establish and maintain regular liaison with clients on project detailing, technical, and commercial aspects
- Prepare and issue formal reports as directed by the Technical Manager
- Ensure adoption of company procedures for quality assurance
- Appoint support detail draughtsmen to projects
- Review contract documentation and prepare drawings and details for client approval
- Raise, record, and resolve technical queries with clients
- Maximise returns to the company through efficient detailing methods
- Maintain programme timescales for drawn information production
- Attend site to establish dimensions or resolve queries
- HND/Mechanical Engineering Degree or Equivalent
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Exposure to working within a similar industry
- Experience within a similar role would be beneficial
