Flourish Project Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead the FLOURISH Pilot Project at The Church of England School. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a new worshipping community that embodies the five core principles of the FLOURISH initiative:

  • Young People-Centric Leadership: The successful candidate will ensure that young people's voices are at the forefront of all leadership decision-making and implementation.
  • Shared Purpose and Vision: The candidate will work closely with the school and church leadership to develop a clear and shared purpose to grow a younger and more diverse community of Christian disciples.
  • Strategic Partnership: The successful candidate will establish a strong strategic leadership partnership between the school and church to drive the FLOURISH initiative forward.
  • Intergenerational Faith Development: The candidate will design and implement intergenerational faith development experiences that involve children and their families of all ages.
  • Integrated Worship: The successful candidate will develop worship experiences that are fully integrated into the regular rhythms, practices, structures, and resources of the school's vision for flourishing of children and adults.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Church of England's values and mission, as well as experience in leading and developing new initiatives. They will be able to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, including school staff, church leaders, and young people.
