Job Description

The Role of CNC Milling, Setter Operator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Programming, setting & operating 3-axis milling machines.
  • Using basic inspection equipment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of programming, setting and operating milling machines using Heidenhein controls.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
  • Overtime/additional hours may be required, depending on the workload of the business.
  • Ability to work well on your own as well as part of a team.
  • Producing high-quality work to fine tolerances.
  • Professional and self-motivated attitude.
  • Good organisational & time management skills.
