NHS Highland is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill a part-time Locum Consultant position in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership within the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) and work closely with the Clinical Leads for CAMHS and other senior team members to deliver high-quality clinical care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and expertise in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
- Work collaboratively with the CAMHS team to deliver high-quality clinical care
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service strategies and policies
- Engage in local, regional, and national continuing professional development (CPD) opportunities
Requirements:
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
- Experience in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Working Arrangements:
This part-time position will be based within the Helensburgh CAMHS Clinic, with opportunities to work across Argyll and Bute. The successful candidate will be expected to work flexibly and adapt to changing service demands.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this position will be £96,963 - £128,841 per annum pro rata, depending on experience.
